If your child is unwell and unable to attend school on the first day of absence you must call the school office and leave a message on the pupil absence line or speak to a member of staff by 9.00 am on that day. If we have not heard from you and your child is not in school we will send a text and ask you to contact the school urgently to advise why your child is absent.
If you child is ill for the following days you do not need to call daily but we ask that you call again on the Monday of the next week to confirm your child is still unwell.
If you child will be absent due to a medical appointment we ask that you send into school proof of this appointment and either contact the school office with details of the absent or write them into the home school diary.
The school must be advised if your child has any allergies, needs an Asthma inhaler or you require them to receive prescribed medicine in school. See the following forms which can be printed, completed and returned to the school office with the relevant medicines.
