In Reception, the children have been searching for signs of Spring, doing observational drawings and labelling them. To support their mathematical development, the children have been measuring plants and flowers using non-standard units, such as cubes and bricks.  We had a lovely time celebrating signs of new life, particularly thinking about how Jesus rose again and the joy this brings us. We made brightly coloured ribbons and used them to create a dance outside to celebrate this special time.
