This half term, the children in Reception have been practicing their football skills with coaching from East Coast Community Healthcare. They have had lots of opportunities to develop their large motor skills and co-ordination. The children now know how to handle a football correctly and have practiced passing and shooting. They have even learnt how to control the ball using their heads! This week, they had their first taste of a football match by participating in small, 5 minute games against each other. They were very competitive and enjoyed putting their skills to good use on the pitch! There were also plenty of goals!
